Parker Hannifin is now looking for a driven Human Resources Leader to join Urjala site
What is the purpose of your job?
The purpose of the job is to provide full HR business partner service to Parker Hannifin´s Urjala location. You are working closely with the Division HR Manager and Regional HR Director to develop and implement appropriate HR practices aligned to Parker, division, group and country requirements.
What are your main duties?
You will have a great opportunity to jump into Parker Hannifin´s Nordic HR team. You will have a double role with approximately 60% supporting the Parker location in Urjala and 40% Country Coordination.
Urjala location tasks
We are looking for a person who places “safety first” work culture on the top of the list. You are actively on the site (3 - 4 days per week depending on your location) in order to ensure that all the Parker HR requirements are implemented properly. You support the location management
team to ensure business focused and positive relationships with the trade unions. As a member of the location leadership team you have an important role in supporting business performance and being an active influencer in making Parker Hannifin and Urjala site a desirable place to work. You will also work closely with the line managers and actively coordinate annual people processes and development activities.
Part of your time goes to supporting the HR Director when it comes to country level coordination matters such as; Occupational health related aspects, internal communication, employer branding and co - operation with outsourced payroll provider and other stakeholders as well as other country level processes and policies.
What kind of person are you?
As a person you love to be out there and being seen on the shop floor. You are a people person with a positive attitude and a master of creating good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You have Can Do! attitude and you influence people with your positive energy.
Experience wise you might be a HR Generalist willing to take the next step in your career towards a HR leadership role or an experienced HR professional. Ideally you have experience from the manufacturing environment. You have knowledge of Finnish employment laws and experience from working with collective agreements. Administrative tasks are routine and you are not afraid of an environment where sudden adhocs might interrupt your day. Also you are handy with computers and systems (Office environment + other systems).

Good to know:
Please notice that this position requires working at least four days a week at Parker´s Urjala site if you live close by or three days at Urjala site and one day at Tampere site if you live further away. Abroad traveling (usually Nordic level) occurs occasionally. This position requires a fluent level of Finnish and English. Position will be filled as soon as possible.
