We are looking for two Lead Design Engineers to strengthen our Automation and Instrumentation teams of our CONTROL business in the Kotka unit.
As a Lead Design Engineer you have the opportunity to work with interesting and challenging projects utilizing your expertise and taking it to the next level. The Lead Design Engineer role may focus on both automation and instrumentation design or either one, depending on your expertise.
Working as a Lead Design Engineer
As a Lead Design Engineer you will be working as a lead designer in industrial automation projects. You have the opportunity to develop our services and show your design and project management skills. You will work together with our other experts and clients to ensure the best possible outcome. In addition to automation design, your work also includes other specialist tasks such as commissioning.
Our projects are large turnkey deliveries for industrial customers. Our group of clients consists of local, national and global industrial companies. The role includes traveling in Finland and occasionally abroad. Your team and home base is in Kotka, but we support remote work.

Are you the Lead Design Engineer we are looking for?
In this role you need strong expertise in automation design and/or instrumentation, problem solving skills and ability to drive projects forward with a systematic and solution-oriented approach. You are an energetic team player with great interpersonal skills and you enjoy working with customers. You are able to see the big picture and you have a diligent approach to work.
You have a relevant educational degree in automation engineering and approximately five years of work experience in industrial automation and/or instrumentation preferably from the process industry. You are familiar with most common automation and design software. You are also fluent in English and/or Finnish.
