As a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager

 

Your part in Lamor’s journey is to develop and implement improved strategic sourcing policies in our global organization. You will create cost estimates and forecasts, negotiate cost-effective contracts with key suppliers, and oversee our sourcing process. To ensure success as a strategic sourcing manager, you should demonstrate a sound knowledge of negotiation strategies and extensive experience in a similar role. An accomplished strategic sourcing manager will be someone whose expertise translates into higher profit margins and competitive advantage.

  • Experience of both developing, implementing and executing a global sourcing approach within a equipment or process manufacturing business
  • Sourcing with a strong execution attitude.
  • Knowledge and experience in subcontracting (EMS) and mechanical components.
  • Cross functional leadership and hands on problems solving skills.
  • Global supplier management skills and Supply Chain knowledge.
  • A strong can do approach and a team leader (network and direct reportees).
  • Passion about sourcing, having strong business acumen and drive.
  • Analytical approach in business and total cost understanding.
  • Technical / Documentation skills
  • Marine, OSR, Construction or Industrial background appreciated
  • Teamplayer and ability to cooperate in a global environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Finnish proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel

Employment type: permanent/full time

Location: Porvoo, Finland or potentially another main location of Lamor

You report to our Director of Delivery Support.
